Most Chinese factories ask for large minimum orders. That makes it hard to test a new product or keep stock lean. GM Import lets you import from China with no MOQ from our side, from one box to a full container.
How we make small orders possible
- Suppliers who accept small quantities. We look for factories and wholesalers that sell in cartons, not only pallets.
- Consolidation. Your cartons travel together with other cargo, so you do not pay for an empty container.
- LCL sea freight from 1 CBM. Pay only for the space you use.
- Air courier for samples. One box delivered fast to check the product.
Start small, then scale
| Stage | Typical quantity | How it ships |
|---|---|---|
| Sample | 1 piece – 1 carton | Air courier |
| Test order | A few cartons | Air cargo or LCL |
| Regular stock | 1–15 CBM | Sea LCL |
| Scale | 20ft or 40ft container | Sea FCL |
An honest note on cost
Small shipments cost more per unit than full containers, because fixed charges such as clearance and documentation are spread over fewer pieces. We show you the per-unit landed cost for each option so you can decide when moving to a bigger shipment makes sense.
Good products for small-quantity imports
Consumer goods, gadgets and accessories, stationery, auto accessories, textiles and samples of almost anything in our product categories. Custom branded products may carry a factory minimum, and we will tell you what it is upfront.
